The Design Process
Not every project is the same, but this is usually how things unfold. I publish this so you know what to expect, and it also helps us plan appropriately.
The Brainstorming Phase
Before diving in, we need a plan. First, we'll need to identify what information you need to display and collect. Then we'll discuss required features, project budget, and target audience.
We'll also review existing marketing efforts to make sure your project will play nicely with regards to branding, colors, fonts, etc. As well, we'll discuss domain names, hosting options, analytics, and SEO possibilities.
The Agreement
One we have project direction, an official proposal is presented covering all services, timelines, and costs. This will also provide you a list of everything needed to begin development.
The Design Phase
Once all requested items have been supplied, the dust will start to rise as construction on your project begins. A graphical mockup will be presented for approval, and once approved, this will serve as the blueprints for your project.
The Development Phase
Sit back and relax while the approved design is turned into the real thing. Once built, your project will be presented on a test server for small tweaks and fine-tuning.
Project Launch
Your project is launched and ready to go. Optionally, you may now high-five the person to your left.
